Whenever I was fighting windmills, you brought me back to my sense
Whenever I lost, you helped me find
True joys of life, just being yourself.

Why do women live longer some may ask.
Cause we meet and brag about all the issues that we have,
then we boil it all and add some spice,
and it all ends up in a burst of laughter

So all my friends together we learn and we share,
some pearls of wisdom being wise only for a day,
Cause tomorrow we’ll add some new flame,
for life to be fun with no regrets

My lovely fairies, my dearest friends
Whenever I was fighting windmills, you brought me back to my sense.
Whenever shaken, my foolish faith,
You reminded me how life is precious with a loving friend

My gratitude for your open arms, your soul food making hands
Whenever I lost, you helped me find

Sometimes we end up scattered around the globe,
and the only coffee we can drink is through voice recording apps,
But at some stressless point in time we gather,
showing off new wrinkles and greys.
Some of you are far away and some are here,
But each of you I cherish for your brutal honesty,
